WAVIoT is developer of NB-Fi wireless standard for IoT networks, manufacturer of utility meters and modems for the AMR systems. The company was established in Russia in 2016.

NB-Fi is LPWAN-class wireless communication technology, which provides long range communication between devices, both in remote areas and in dense urban environments. Perfect for building IoT (Internet of Things) networks and deploying Automated Meter Reading and City Infrastructure Management systems. The main benefit of the NB-Fi technology is ultra-low power consumption, which guarantees up to 10 years of independent operation of devices with base station coverage of up to 10 kilometers.

WAVIoT designes and produces various NB-Fi devices: electricity meters, water meters, gas and heat meters, base stations, and also IoT server software. WAVIoT products are used by Russian largest energy generation, transmission and distribution companies. In 2019 more than 25% of WAVIoT devices were shipped to foreign countries.
